Hey could someone say meditate into a WILD on no sleep? I'm always a side/stomach sleeper so I figure if I'm sitting up at an incline on my back It'll be easy to keep from falling asleep. I know about the REM cycles and why WBTB makes it easier to WILD, I'm just wondering if it's possible since I'm probably not going to get any sleep tonight (slept too much last night |

Yes to maintain focus while getting deeper and and deeper is what its all about. So to meditate a whole night instead of falling to sleep while trying i would say is better. And then you have bigger chance of success. |

That sounds quite difficult. You'd have to stay aware while slipping into that lower level of coinciousness for 90 minutes, plus however long it takes for you to actually start falling asleep. Good luck and please post any results if you have any. |

Don't beat yourself up there ironlung, that is a very very difficult task to achieve. A normal WILD is hard enough, multiply it by 2 by not doing the WBTB techinque. It can be done, but the concentration needed is too great... |

If I hadn't made me
I'd be more inclined to bow
Powers that be would have swallowed me up
But that's more than I can allow...
I kind of accidently tried this last night when I went to bed at 5.00am... |
