      Hello dreamers!

Hey people! I'm new to this forum and I'm working on my lucidity. I've been keeping a dream journal on my computer for a few days now.

I should introduce myself as well I guess. My name is Victor, I'm 17 years old and I live in Sweden. I have a feeling that I will like it here, this seems like a nice community.

      Cya'll later! // Holiace

Oh I almost forgot, Sleep well =)

That's when you dream about stuff that happened during the day, right?

It's probably going to vary from person to person, I tend to dream about events from my own life, but I don't dream too much about the previous day (or even the previous few days).

It's when you dream or when your dreams involve or relate to things that have happened in the near past (past week or so).

      Welcome, Holiace,

Sounds like you are doing a good job studying up on LDing. That's great that you've started a dream journal too. Those are great for recognizing dream signs, improving dream recall, and keeping yourself motivated.

Speaking of Day Residue, I experienced that last night. Before bed I watched an old video that I had found that had been lost for a long time. It was of myself and some of my old freinds. And last night I had dreams with those friends. It was really nice. I usually experience Day Residue with things that affect me emotionally like that.

Anyway, I'm glad you're here. This is a very supportive community.

Let us know how it goes.

To start off with: Woah, girls on the internet? Cool.

Ok, on a serious note, I was very motivated at the time when I found out about LD so I read more than I usually do when I read about anything else. I'm learning more every day, I'm watching videos on Youtube for example.

That's a great thing to do if you have the time. Having LDing on your mind for a good part of the day will help it be on your mind when you are sleeping (back to that residue thing we talked about). And also make sure that through out the day you question your state ("Am I dreaming?"). I feel that doing these things was what got me lucid.

Keep up the good work--you're doing great...

I'll make sure to do it "by the book" sortof. I'm having problems making RC's all the time.

I don't usually do RCs. I usually just take a second to see if it feels like a dream. I can usually tell. If I'm dreaming I will usually immediately float off the ground. Looking at your hands is another one that is quick and easy and you can do without looking strange if you are not alone. My hands are never normal in my dreams.

Ahh. I'll just ask myself? Sounds easy enough.

Well, it's off to bed right now. Good night!

The main thing is to just make it a habit to question your state enough that you start doing it in your dreams.

I have day residue in almost all of my dreams. I think most people do, sometimes it's just hidden.

Hey! My dreams were full of day residue, like always.

I generally dream of guns, cars and people I know and it was kind of weird when I found that out.

      Just a quick question...

What does like... "Semi-Lucid" mean? That you are aware that you are dreaming but you have 0% control of anything?
