      Lucid dream?

Okay, so last night i had the same dream all night long. It was pretty much some one was throwing tennis balls at me and i was trying to dodge them. Every time i got hit by one i would wake up and write " Lost again" in my Dream Journal. After that i would fall back asleep and have the same dream the cycle continued until i had to go to school.

I knew that if i got hit i would wake up. So is this lucid dreaming? Has anyone had similar experiences?

If you know that you were dreaming when you were in the dream, then it was a lucid dream. You say that you knew that you would wake up if you got hit. Sounds like it was lucid dreams to me, assuming that you were aware that you were dreaming.

I guess it all depends on how aware you were that you were dreaming. It could be a low level lucid where you know on some level that you are dreaming, but you don't really do anything to take control.

BUt it's a good step in the right direction. Keep it up.

I've had those night where I seem to have the same dream all night.

Next time that happens, when you wake up remember to concentrate for a little bit that the next time it happens, you will know that you are dreaming. Hopefully you will become fully lucid then, when you start dreaming again.
