Sounds quite similar to the thought patterns of someone suffering from obsessive compulsive disorder, always wondering and thinking about what will go wrong and how it will go wrong. |

Many times when I have a lucid dream, anything that can go wrong, does go wrong. lol. It starts by me thinking "Oh i hope so-and-so doesnt happen" and then what do you know, it happens. I dont seem to have any control over it, the only thing i notice is the second something comes to my mind, a worst case scenario type of thing, it happens in my dream. Has anyone else experienced this, or have any tips on how to gain control? |

That is a well known dream phenomenon. I think the best way to over come it is not by trying to avoid doing it, but by giving yourself something else to do. Rehearse a task that you want to accomplish while you are awake. Be determined that you are going to accomplish that task, and that nothing is going to stop you. Hopefully, you will be so focussed when you become lucid that you won't have time to worry. Maybe after a few times, the pattern will be broken. |

i had this for an extremely short amount of time. whenever you think something will go wrong you must think almost in an aggresive way, "this is my dream i am in control and I decide what happens!" remember, you are in complete control. it worked for me the first time i had the problem. |

I need my sleep. I need about eight hours a day, and about ten at night.
