I have a question about hypnagognic imagery.

Well lately I have been trying to WILD but when i try to watch the hypnagognic imagery i can never see it. I don't really know if I am so tired I am just passing out or is there something I should do get them to come? Should I get out of bed for a minute then try to do it? I'm not really sure but i'm sure someone can help.

      Thanks

Are you sleeping before hand? Also, WILD is a very difficult technique, so don't be discouraged on your first try.
You do this every fucking time.
      No sweat.
      No tears.
      No guilt.
You do this every fucking time.

As AmazeO suggested, make sure you sleep about 5-6 hours beforehand. This will make WILDing much easier, and also increase the length and quality of the lucid dream should you succeed.

Also, do not focus on the hypnogogic imagery. Focusing on it tends to make it disappear. It's hard to explain, but you just have to see through it, without "watching" it.

If you have further questions, feel free to ask them.
