      New.. VERY Interested :)

Hello all!! I have heard and read up on lucid dreaming, but have not actually experienced one before. I am thinking about getting my own little notebook or something and writing down my dreams in it every morning.

Yes, that is a very good idea to start a dream journal. Go check out the tutorials if you'd like.

      UnknownFear, welcome to Dreamviews!

It's great to hear that you've started a dream journal - that'll help both your ability to remember your dreams and your ability to become lucid in them.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask me or any another dream guide for assistance.

Well, I woke up this morning at 6:00 AM, turned off my alarm, and said to myself "what did i dream?" and to my surprise, my mind went backwards through some of the things that I dreamed! It was pretty cool! But, I forgot to write in my dream journal

I hope so. I am not entirley sure on what exactly to do. I have tried lying in bed when I wake up and think about what I have dreamnt, and that does work, but I do that to recall what I dreamed. I am not sure how exactly to have a lucid dream.

Also, I have heard of this technique that you can do called Brain Asleep Mind Awake (BMSA). When you go to sleep, your brain sends a signal to your body, asking it if it is asleep and the way it does this is, it will make your body move suddenly. There is a way that you can put your body asleep FIRST, before your mind and what this supposedly does is, it will make your whole body numb, you won't be able to scream or talk at all, but you will be fully aware of everything around you because your mind is still awake and alert. I have heard that this can be quite frightening and I was wondering if someone could elaborate on this because it sounds very interesting!
