      new but old

      Hi everybody!
Im here to post for the first time, just to say that I used to practice LD without any guide since a very long time. I have some experiences which I would like to share with you in the future. basicly I learned to do this LD stuff due to a recurrent nightmare when I was a child. Now it's an old story. nowadays I use this for solving some kind of problems in the "insides" I think to make the "outsides" work better.
ok, nice to introduce myself and we'll see you very soon...

Welcome to Dreamviews - it's good to have another experienced lucid dreamer on the board!

If you'd like to share a specific experience, you can post it in the Lucid Experiences forum. Also, you can start a dream journal in the Dream Journal forum if you want to post every dream you have for people to read and comment on.

Please ask if you have any questions.

      thanx for the words!
I lost the last post , ok ok, first of all I will get familiar with all this ADDQUOTE stuff before messing around somewhere else.
theres a couple of abreviations which I would like to know: WBTB, EILD, MILD and DEILD. You'll understand my situation about the "standard" names used to comunicate the experiences. after all this I think I will post at the lucid experiences forum.
I'm interested in some exercises I found somewhere here in the forum for WILD and DILD because they were just what I was looking for and I fell in a "lack of ideas" hole!! although I think some of the methods can be improved. if I dont find somewhere else what I'm thinking can be improved.
ok, that's it by now, see ya!

The acronyms can be very confusing, but there's an Acronym List in the Tutorials section that should help you out. If you find one that's missing, feel free to ask one of us.

You can also find tutorials about WILD, DILD, and other techniques in that tutorial section.

I need to get that added to the list - DEILD stands for Dream Exit Induced Lucid Dream. It's also called Dream Re-entry, there's a tutorial about it in the Tutorials section.

      Here I am again...
ok, I consider that this is the time to make a little change in the subject of my posts and the zone to post. If you want to follow me into this, I will be glad to discuss my points of view regarding LD there.
As I said, I use to LD since a long time, although in the "insides" (I haven't found yet a standard definition for this) it could have happen just a couple of hours ago. I will explain about this later.
Before turning the first page, I want to say that I think that every person has his/her own way of waking up inside his/her own dreams, however the goal in DILD's is to "get awake with no waking up" there are more than just one way to reach it. About the way of how to, there are a lot of information in the tutorials zone which I think is better than my "home-made" exercises because I usually mentalized on some strange thing that happen during dream that would never happen in "real world" for realizing that I'm dreaming. I ignored that I can pay attention to my ordinary life to mentalize there too!
In my first experiences, as I said, I had the needing of waking up because of a recurrent Nightmare which I never got to wake up, I just had to learn how to fight inside the nightmare. The ironical thing then, was that after I finally "won" the war, and I got awake in the next dream, it was very dificult for me to NOT wake up at that moment.
As I read in the tutorials zone, I use to have more DILD's. I think it's just because I didn't know that WILD's could happen. Obiously I will try and exercise more this experiece about WILD's which I think would be very pleasant. Anything that could give me longer times for LD's will be gladly accepted.
The next thing I want to say is about my LD experiences but there is a specific zone to do this. So, let's see at the dream experience forum, see ya there!
