      Hey Everyone

Hi everyone hope you are well.

Anyways I have been attempting to WILD after finding the site and giving me examples of what to do.

First night I relaxed and used the counting breaths method after a while i felt as if i was on a rollercoaster and at one point i felt my bed had became vertical i after this i felt like i was spinning and my eyes where moving rapidly (they felt as if they where twitching. - is this the REM?) suddenly my body seemed to jolt and my heart started beating really fast, i woke up at this point because it got a bit strange for the first attempt.

So the second night i tried it again and pretty much the same things happed but i felt really weird. I felt scared by what was happening. My brain was telling me to open my eyes but i didnt and i felt scared. i kept telling myself that it wasnt real. Then it seemed as everything was moving at a stupidly fast rate, there wasnt any images at this point just the colours and shapes. I kept at it and after about ten mins i felt safe and my brain felt relaxed. I kept counting still at this point. I could still hear various noises from my house so i didnt lose my senses and all the time i felt i could move my hands if i wanted. At one point i couldnt open my eyes.

I turned over (is it ok to do this?) and landscapes where starting to form then i saw myself from a photo i have at my house wave but it didnt last 2 seconds.

Am i near a lucid and is what i have experienced what can happen? If so what would you advise i did next time??

      thanks for listening.

What you are experiencing is what is called Sleep Paralysis, there are numerous threads about it throughout the forum.

My advice to you would be courage and persistance above all else. You are clearly very close to gaining lucidity. Let sleep paralysis pass and you will pass into a Lucid Dream. My one piece of criticism at your last attempt would have been that you would most likely have had more success if you didn't turn over midway. You want to completely abandon your physical body, but consciously when WILDing.

yeah from what i have read you should not move even if you have an itch or pain in ur leg its your brain cheaking if ur asleep yet and if u move ur brain knows ur body is still awake. So just keep still and it will all pass so i have read i am still trying to dream recall.
