I'm not sure what I am...

      Hi,

My name is Graeme. I'm not sure what I am. I've been having different kinds of dreams for the last year and half. Most notably during the last year. Instead of feeling like I become "unconscious" when I fall asleep, I am aware that I am present all night. Present; not conscious. Instead, I just feel like I am there, aware of my existence. I don't know if this comes from the meditative states my mind is usually in during the day.
Anyway, when I dream I am aware that I am dreaming. This is all the time, except for nights where I konk right out, which happens once in a while. However, it is not that easy for me to simply label them as lucid dreams because I never have an urge to control them. I am aware that they are dreams, but I let them be what they are. I use a technique I have called Threading, but I would be interested in learning and trying some of the other techniques here. Once I read about MILD and VILD I realized that I have inadvertantly been doing those too.
Often times in my dreams I feel like I am on a journey. I am aware that I have come here, to this other part of my mind to learn and discover something. I use Threading to lead the way and cause the dream to materialize however it needs to. Often times it can be profound! One time I was led by a man to my grandma (recently deceased) who informed me that I have hypertension. Upon investigation, it looks like this is indeed the case! My dreams have also given me warnings and foresights before which turned out to be valid, which makes me suspect that when I go to the "unconscious" it is not just within my own brain!
Anyways, I would be interested in sharing experiences with anyone who is interested. Feel free to contact me anytime!
      ~Graeme

Yess quite a natural talent you got there. You should really explore it and perfectonize it to your own advantage. Some people included myself would pay big money to have that ability

      Thaks!

Thanks guys. It is my hope that here through interacting with people, it will give me incentive to perfect my whole conscious/unconscious thread. I understand that this is all part of a natural process of growth. I find that I grow the most when I am either explaining/teaching someone how to do something. Is it possible I can adopt people? that would be the best way to give me a reason to start materializing my methods and then honing in on the mechanisms.
Anyone got advice on what I should do here?
      Thanks!
      Graeme

      Hey what's up.

      This is the adoptions forum:
      http://www.dreamviews.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=21

You do need to be a lucid expert or higher to adopt anyone. Not because post count matters, but you really need to get the hang of the forums and the system first.

However I'm sure a lot of people would have no problems discussing what you have to say with them. This 'threading' sounds intriguing.

      Hi,

So then to become higher in rank that means do lots of posting? Oh trust me, all the topics here, I could post like mad! I have so much to say, just no time. Hopefully in the next few days I can get on here more.
      Thanks for the help,

      Graeme

Hey don't get the wrong idea. Posting a lot in a short time isn't good and would annoy some of the other members.

If you can post fast make sure all the messages you make are not one sentence long and actually contribute to the topic.
