Question Does This Count As A Lucid Dream?

It was short, but last night I dreamed that I was flying over a city and about half way through I realised I was dreaming, so I just continued to fly.

Everything became much clearer and felt more real, but only after about 30 seconds - a minute or so of flight I was beginning to wake up, I remembered that spinning stopped this from happening but I was unable to accomplish this while airborne, everything faded and I woke up.

Would you say this counts as lucidity?

Definately, and it was a good one too. Was it your first? If so then it was a great first LD as most people's first LD ends when they know they are dreaming.
