      Just joined/ WILD question

Ok so I'm Spenser wats up?

Couple questions but ill give you some background
So ever since i was really little i have had good dream recall usually 1 - 2 dreams a night. My dad told me about lucid dreaming so i read a little of Stephen LaBerge's book and on Friday morning i attempted a WILD

I woke after 6 hours of sleep stayed up for only 5 mins ( i felt if i stayed up longer i wouldn't be able to sleep again) and then preceded to relax. I achieved sleep paralysis and then i heard something like air coming out of a propane tank and got scared but i told myself it wasn't real and continued with the procedure. After about an hour of laying there with nothing but the sound i gave up rolled over (i was sill conscious at this time) and i heard the sound but ignored it.

In the morning i realized i might have given myself a false awakeing and was wondering wat you guys and girls think.

      ty in advance

Sup, Spencer. Not much. Welcome to Dreamviews.
WILDing takes practice and you most people don't get it on their first try. Just keep trying.
You might have had a false awakening and remember to do RC's when you wake up to see if you are in a false awakening.

Yeah Spenser, Got to agree with Kingofclutch.

The W.I.L.D. takes practice, only experienced members can do it properly really. Feel free to try it out though! It's always good to experiment and practice.

And it's a good thing you have a book on Lucid Dream, one of the best you got there!

Lastly, keep up the Dream Journal, soon you'll be an awesome lucid dreamer. Keep it up, you'll improve alot!

      to DV.

Most WILDs begin with false awakenings, I think that all except for one of mine have.
