      "Newbie" to Dreamviews

Hello everyone, I found this place because of a friend who is active here. *Looks at Holiace* Hoping to have a great time here, find good facts about LD and new friends.

Not good at introducing myself, so we'll see how this goes.
I am a 20 year old boy, living in Lund, Sweden. Studying at the university at the moment.

Can't say that I'm a newbie, in the meaning of that I don't know anything about Lucid Dreaming. I read a lot about it 2-3 years ago when I was in high school. But then I didn't have enough time to start practicing to become lucid. One thing that I regret very much, I must say.

I've checked on most parts of the forum in search of "new" techniques to become lucid at a faster rate, but as I know of my own experience that is not easily achieved.
I started keeping a dream journal about one week ago and remember some of my dreams. One problem I have, some days, is that when my alarm goes of and I wake up, the dream vanishes very quickly. I'm not talking about minutes, rather about seconds and then it's completely gone. Still going to continue writing in my journal and hoping for results.
Experiences I've had in my life is two DILD, which was before my time knowing there was something called LD.

Can tell you all about the last one, that I got 5 years ago, but still remember it like yesterday.
I was in the forest where my mother and father lives and in some odd way I get some sort of superspeed. Running many times faster than a human being normally would while chasing the love of my life, who every time I got near teleported away to another location and the same for me. So I ran after her four times, then when I finally touched her with my fingers, everything got extremely bright and I couldn't see a thing.
Shortly thereafter a awoke from the dream.

That's about everything. Let me know if I forgot something.
      See you on the forum.

Welcome to the forum Anoorian! This site has some information on lucid dreaming for you to look up in the tutorials section. That dream sounded quite weird, very cryptic.

Well it's good to know that you have some knowledge on lucid dreaming, so you are quite ahead of most new dreamers.

      Feel free to look around.

Sweet! A newbie that checked his facts!

Welcome to the forum, dude. If you need help becoming lucid again, check the tutorials, like Neavo said, or the Attaining Lucidity forum. Those should help a lot.

      We're glad to have ya!

That sounds like a really interesting dream, what with everything turning bright at the end.. Maybe you could post it or any others in the dream interpretation forum if you think they're significant.
