I recommend adding somewhere in every page of your dream journal "Am I dreaming?", that might work. Or once you start writing it, look away, and then look back and see if it changed. |

I had a false awakening a few days ago, and I had one this morning. Both times I was waking up, writing my previous dream in my dream journal, when I realized I wasn't writing. The conversation in my head sort of went like this: |

Bah. My suggestion: RC *before* writing on your journal. Or, should I say, RC everytime you wake up, and you'll prevent most False Awakenings. |

Saying quantum physics explains cognitive processes is just like saying geology explains jurisprudence.
That was more or less a lucid dream. I'll give it to you You realised you were dreaming-ish which is good enough. Reality checks help out with FAs so just keep asking yourself if you're dreaming and do the techniques |

Good suggestions. I was also wondering about false awakenings. I'm glad I opened this thread. I'll definitely start doing RC's right when I wake up. |

If you're lazy, don't worry, I'm lazy too. Just write keywords on a peice of paper or something you can write on. Your mind will either remember when you look at it, or your mind will get a boost and you will remember your dream and everything you wrote untill you eventually get up and do whatever. |
