      Very new at Lucid dreaming

I was just wondering if i was at some level of lucid dreaming. I was in a situation where i was dreaming and i ended up stealing a GMC SUV from a group of 4 people where i continued on a high speed pursuit with quite a bit of police cars. I proceeded to wreck into a barn where i left it and went into a building where the cops came in. However i told them they could not do anything to me because i was dreaming. The cops then convinced me that i wasnt dreaming and i was going to jail. I managed to close my eyes and what i thought woke up. I then reassured myself that i was in a dream fell back asleep and got back into the same dream. I told them that it was a dream and i convinced them to all leave.

Just a little help deciphering if possible

      Thanks

Hi! I'm also new to the site- I'd say you managed to control the dream, but from what I understood from the info, you have to actually stay asleep controlling your actions/the dream for it to be a lucid dream. But it's a start... I've only ever had one actual lucid dream, and just recently actually learned the term "lucid dream."

Welcome to dreamviews Danny and Shadow

For extra help you can go to the tutorial section or just ask us, we'll be glad to answer.

Yes Danny, I do believe that you had a lucid dream. All you have to do is know that you are dreaming for it to be a lucid dream.

I'm also not really understanding what you are saying Shadow about controlling while asleep.

Good luck to both of you

Now Glider, don't be cruel to the new people!

Anyway, Danny, even considering the fact that you're not able to Lucid Dream isn't going to help you. Just keep practicing, do reality checks every day, keep a Dream Journal to write all your dreams in and eventually you'll start knowing the feeling of lucid dreaming. Even if you aren't lucid dreaming, you will be "In the game" just like all the other people on this website that like to talk about Lucid Dreaming.

If you want to increase your level of lucidity, you can try some of the methods in the tutorial section which is here - Click

Again, even if you're not lucid dreaming, you will know how it feels to practice.

Good look Danny, and welcome to Dream Views!

Sounds like you were probably a little bit lucid if you tried to convince the cops that it was a dream. Nice re-entry by the way. Next time you can just fly away from the cops or kill them if they get in your way That's what's so great about dreams, no consequences.
