Thread: Did i have a LD

Ok last night i had what i think was a LD but I'm not sure, so I'll tell you the dream and why I'm not sure.

Started at UGA and i was having to take a test to get into this college. I went to eat lunch and when I came back I asked myself why I was trying to get into UGA because I want to go to Auburn. At that moment I looked up and saw a poster with two hands and something about LD's in the middle of them. The weird thing about these hands were that they both had 7 fingers. At that moment I looked down at my hands and noticed that I had an extra
pinky on my right hand. When I noticed this I rolled out of my "bed" but i was still "lucid". At this point I noticed that everything was first person. So I walked upstairs but for some reason I was afraid of the basement I was in because it was night. I walked to the living room and started to do some controlling. First i summoned someone by closing my eyes and saying "When i open my eyes (name) will be behind that chair". I said this twice and it worked but the person i summoned was lifeless and when I looked away for just a second the person turned into a brick. So after that i started to try it again but i added that the person will be an intelligent person. Then I started to wake up but it seemed like i was waking up many times. Almost like it feels to come up out of deep water. In the end i woke up.

It only lasted about 30 seconds but for some reason I don't think I was lucid

I also seemed to think that i was just a dream of me lucid dreaming (even though in a way that would be a LD)

Maybe it was just because it wasnt as vivid as i pictured or the false awakenings so that is why i decided to ask

One thing that I remember tho is when i was walking through the hall i thought to myself that this is what it is like to be lucid

Im curious to see what you guys think

Yeah, if you knew you were dreaming you were Lucid! And it sounds like you did know. And what a cool dreamsign to have. that was awesome, seeing a lucid dreaming poster like that.

That's a perfect example of how your subconscious can sometimes help you get Lucid. That kind of thing happens to me sometimes when really focusing on my intent to have a Lucid Dream. My subconscious will create the most likely events for it to happen.
