How are you waking up? I tend to have moderate to great recall, unless I'm woken up abruptly, in which case I can't clearly remember much, if at all. |

I have started dream jornalling by monday. The first night I could recall about 10 seconds of a dream. The next days, after I wake up, I can't remember anything from my dreams. It's just like I don't have them. Ok I know i have them but why can't I remember anything? Any suggestions? |

Try not to move when you wake up. If you lay still, with your eyes closed your last dream should come back to you. Hope this helps |

Telling yourself that you will remember your dreams before you go to bed helps more than you'd think. I've also noticed that it can depend on how much total sleep you get prior to waking up - i.e. whether you wake up from REM stage or some other sleep stage. Try varying your alarm clock up or back by 20 minutes or so and see if that helps. |
