Cool Just called to say "Hi"

      Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to drop a quick line to introduce myself and say hi to the community.

I've been interested in my Dreams, and Dreams in general, for a long time, and up until about a year and half ago I was actually a fairly regular Lucid Dreamer. Disruptions to my life, complacency in the fact that I remember my Dreams easily, and an ever increasing slackness in committing my Dreams to my Journal, have all contributed to a Lucid dry spell.

I've been fortunate though, and the have had time to think and re-center myself over the past couple of months. I'm back recording my Dreams daily, and have already had an increase in vividity (I think I made that word up) and Dream recall.

Now seems like a good time in my life to join the community, to share and learn, so here I am! Who knows? Maybe discussing Dreams and Lucidity will help end the drought. Let it rain, let it rain.

Either way, I'm glad to be hear.

Since you're experience then maybe trying a new technique will help your lucid dreams, look up WILDs, it's where you consciously step into a lucid dream.

      Hi,

Thanks for the welcome. I have actually managed a handful of WILDs during my last active period of Lucid Dreaming. It's funny you should mention it though, because I was practising straddling the awake/asleep line this afternoon (in prep for WILDs later down the line). I had forgotten what it feels like. I saw a post in another area of the forum about Salvador Dali's techniques for attaining lucidity, which was very interesting.

Anyone who's interested can find it here

      Hi Xox, ~Erin~,

Thanks for the welcome. I'm hanging out, hopping between areas of on the forum, populating my thoughts with lucidity-flavoured Dream-Seeds, so hopefully I'll move a step or two closer tonight...
