      A dreamy greeting

Hello everyone. I'm new to this forum and new to lucid dreaming.

I do dream a lot. Almost every single night, but most of the time they are either horrible horrible nightmares that I've had since I was a little kid..The same ones in a random cycle over and over...

...Or if I get a breath of fresh air I'll have a really random and just over the top weird dream.

I've never been much good at controlling anything in any of my dreams. Most of the time in my dreams I am pretty much hiding and just waiting for something bad to find me..And I am also almost always a little girl of age 7 in my dreams..I find that a little interesting.

But that's a bit a vague history for you all and I hope to get to know all of you and thank you in advance for all the help I'm sure I will recieve from you all.

      Hiya!

Good to know you dream every night, proves good recall. But, ahh! You need to get rid of those nightmares mate! No need to worry though, Dreamviews.com is here to help you!

Here's a tip, you're a seven year old little girl in every dream aren't you? Like you said. Well, use this as a Dream Sign. Try to do a Reality Check every time you find yourself in the body of the little girl. A Reality Check is simple, just look at your hands. If they seem odd, you're dreaming. Other similar checks can be to read your watch, does it look different? Then you're dreaming, there's a lot more, here - Click

Another tip for fighting your nightmares is to keep a Dream Journal, when you wake up from a dream, either write down your dreams, or write down keywords to remind yourself of the dream for later typing or writing. This will get the dreams and nightmares onto the paper, and help you in two ways. We could help you out, and more importantly, the dream or nightmare will literally be in your Dream Journal as a piece of writing or text.

Personally, to help you figure out why most of your dreams are nightmares, I recommend you to read the Dream Realism tutorial - Click

If your dreams are filled with Dream Characters or voices of any kind, with these techniques or just, this amount of knowledge, might help you out so maybe you can ask the Dream Characters or voices what's wrong and what the meaning of these dreams actually are. Your quest here is to find the answer.

I got all the tutorials from here by the way, feel free to check them out - Click

Welcome to the community, hope it helps you out loads.

      Thanks!

I've tried doing the reality checks before but it's so hard because when I am in that little girl body I think like a little girl and just panic shoots through me and all I can literally do is just hide and wait.

I am working on typing up some of my past dreams. (I keep a notebook by my bed) So everyone can read them and maybe help.

Thanks for the tutorials. I've already begun reading them

That's good, maybe your family and friends may be able to help you too.

And if you want, there's a Dream Journal section on this very website. Here's the link - Click

Hello and welcome to Dream Views

Most of my pre-Dream Views dreams were nightmares. I'd had them nearly every night since as far back as I could remember. Being here, paying attention to my dreams and practicing lucid dreaming seems to have killed off the annoying nightmares so that I can now have the chance to explore other aspects of my dreams.

Hopefully the same will be true for you.
