I think DILD is dream initiated lucid dreaming...(is that right?) and if it is what exactly does that mean? I mean the dream initiated part? Also, is there somewhere on this site where I can find a list of the abbreviations? I'm a real newbie and I haven't really figured out the best way to find my way around. If anybody can offer any help, it would be so appreciated. Thanks if advance. |

Lucid count 2008:
DILD=14:: WILD=8 :: total lucid time: approx 3h 50 mins
2007: DILD=16, WILD=13, total lucid time approx 1h 50mins
I would, personally, suggest for you to get "Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming" by Stephen LaBerge. It's everything including an introduction to lucid dreaming, the terminology and a step-by-step guide to get you lucid dreaming. So it's worth reading for any beginner for certain. |

Yeah, Merlock said it all but I still want to say "Hi! Welcome to DV." |

Hey Merlock! Thanks for the friendly welcome, and the VERY helpful link. I am already more in the know than I was 5 minutes ago. I have to admit to being confused at the concept of going into a lucid dream from the waking state...is this rare? I am going to enjoy working on some of these things. I will look for the book the next time I am in town, thanks for the recommendation. |

You can find lots of induction methods in Attaining Lucidity and some useful stuff in the Tutorials section. |
