      Interesting Recall "Hiccup"

I've been keeping a dream journal for a month now, and my recall has gotten progressively stronger.

Recently, I realized I could recall at least two dreams every single night.

BUT, I became lazy with recording them.

Yesterday, I didn't record my dreams from the night before, and I totally lost my recall for the night after.

What do you think about this??

It might be a coincidence, might be because you slacked off, might be because you (subconsciously) expected to be affected by not recording for a night.

      Get back to it!

      Same thing happens to me.

when you don't have time to write them in detail, you should at least write a few words about each dream. And then think about those dreams a lot during the day. That should help some.

Sounds very similer to how visualization went for me, I had been visualizing for along time, and I stopped for two days and forgot how, dream recall is very similar I think, since they both involve the right brain. When I go to remember a dream it's very similar to when I go to visualize I have to kind of set my mind into a specific zone of thinking and build apon it, I can have it on the tip of my tongue but can't quite reach for it, eventually if you try hard and try to find that abstract feeling to recall, you might still beable to catch the train your recall was on before you fell off and be back where you were, maybe not as good, but still better then when you first started.

I wanna be the very best
      Like no one ever was
To lucid dream is my real test
To control them is my cause
