      Almost had it...

I went to bed last night, and I woke up 5 hours later.
I stayed up for 30 min, and I read an article about lucid dreaming.
I went back to bed, and I started dreaming that I was with a friend of mine. We were talking about something and I said: "I just wish I had a lucid dream...". Then I said to myself: "But wait a minute... What if I am dreaming right now?" I woke up at that moment, but I was very happy to have my first lucid dream...

Cool, congrats! I'd recommend staying up for 60 mins though, especially if you only sleep for 5 hours. But hey, whatever works for you!

I reccomend 60-90 if u can fall asleep. When I sleep for 4-5 hours especially, 90 minutes works wonders.

why should 60-90 minutes work so much better than 20-30 minutes?

I think because your mind is much more awake after a longer period of time, allowing you to be conscious easier. From personal experience, I know that I just fall asleep right away if I stay up for 30 mins.

I tryed being awake for 60 min, but it did not worked. So I guess that 30 min works 4 me...
Also, I want to ask you something. Is it normal to have lucid dreams one after another, or you have to wait weeks or even months to have another one?

With WILD you can induce them at will, and with dreamsigns and RC you can get into many MILD's. So with practice and experience you dont have to wait more than maybe some dream cycles . It can take time and vary from person to person, but LD will occour more and more frequently, thats for sure.

One night I almost had a WILD. But at some point, I felt that my body was very weird, so I decided to stop. Itīs a very scary sensation when you do it for the first time...
