      Im new

Well, I just now found out about this, and it almost seems to real to be true, but, somebody teach me. I will do anything to learn, if your willing to take me under your wing. Thanks

It is almost too good to be true. And its even more fun than it sounds, if you can believe that!

We have an adoption program here in the adoption section:
      http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...splay.php?f=29

Read through the **READ BEFORE POSTING** sticky to see how it works. I think they ask for you to be a member for two weeks before you commit. That way, you have time to get your dream recall up, start journaling, and get the hang of the basics like reality checks.

In the mean time, check out the tutorials section
      http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...splay.php?f=25
Especially the Quick Start Tutorial. Its got some good tips to get you started

If you have any questions, feel free to ask

I was thinking of adopting sometime soon.

Anyway, post a little about yourself. People will be more likley to 'take you under their wing' if they know a little about you =]

And yes. Lucid Dreaming has been scientifically proven, and yes, it's awesome.

      Welcome to dreamviews =]

Well, im 18, and probably have had the most active imagination since I was a child. And just finding out that I could sub-contiously control my dreams and become an active, self aware part of the dreams that I have has been something I thought was never possible,

and the fact that, once practiced and able, you could induce Lucid Dreams, just makes it that much more inticing to do!!!

Thanks for the quick reply guys, and my question is,

how hard is it, is it easier than it sounds? I know that it takes practice but, Im a drummer, so I know all abouit practice.

It isn't really difficult at all, thoraxe. I had my first lucid dream the night I joined Dreamviews, in fact. Perhaps you will as well!

I find that just keeping dreaming, especially the lucid variety, in my thoughts throughout the day makes it all the more likely for me to have a lucid dream at night.

well, lastnight, I tried two things, the DILD and WILD methods, I went to bed at 10, and repeated, I will remember my dream, while simultaneously picturing what I could remember from the dream in my head, and it seemed like I just started doing that when my alarm whent off, at 2:00.

So, I went back to bed, and began the wild method, I was copmletely relaxed, nothing tensed, and just repeating things, and remembering things, and I had the most amazing and surreal sensation ever about 30 minuets in (guestemating) I saw light patterns and it felt like my eyes lids were struggling to open, and then everything went fuzzy, my arms, my legs, everything, and then I woke up!!! I'm going to try again tonight and see what happens.

to DV. What you saw were hypnogogic imagery, they're fun to watch WILD is really difficult to do, maybe WBTB would be more appropriate for a newbie.

I've been reading more on this site about what LD is like, and it starting to sound that the dream qorld is almost identical to the real one, ie:touch, sence, smell.

What is it like, im trying again tonight, WBTB method as ninja suggested, i know its gonna happen tonight!! Im stoked!
