I've heard that a lot of people discovered lucid dreaming through nightmares the way that you did. You just reminded me of this thread:

I hope lucid dreaming helps you realize the god-like powers you have in your dreams. Like Daniel said, once you realize what you are capable of, you never need to fear nightmares again.

You should start a dream journal, if you haven't already.

I've over come many a nightmare Using Lucidity. I welcome nightmares now, because if I get scared enough the chances are pretty good that I will get Lucid. So the scarier the better.

Hopefully finding this site will help you to turn those scary dreams of yours into fun dreams.

Thanks very much for warm welcome guys! Although I don't mind the normal dreams I have, because they're all unique and kind of funky, I will look forward into practicing to get lucid here and there so I can have even more fun with them!
