      Hello all :)

I'm 27, designer photo-retoucher, from France, my english is not perfect so excuse me for that.

Dreams have always taken a big big place in my mind. They revealed me lots of things about myself.
I've been attracted since the beginning by dreams and OBE, but when i feel i'm going out of my body i'm too much scared yet. I think it's not the right moment for me to experience it. So i decided to really work about lucid dreams. It's now one of my main goals and i'm really happy to have found this great forum.

You all seem very nice and very helpful with each other, i'm hoping to share nice experiences and success with lucid dreaming

      Welcome to DV!

Don't worry about your English, it's fine.

If you haven't already, you should take a look at the tutorial section: http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...splay.php?f=25

I'm looking forwards to reading about your progress!

      Hi, Osvalk.

If you're interested in OBE, don't forget to check out the Beyond Dreaming section. If you can get past all the UFO threads , there is a lot of discussion of lucid dreaming in relation to OBE.

Thanks a lot for your welcomes

Well for the moment i know more about OBE than about lucid dreams but i try to learn a lot. Your tutorials are really really interesting.

Actually i'm trying to remember my dreams. This week i recalled maybe 2 dreams each night. I'm doing the hypnagogic technic because i always did that to fall asleep before, without knowing it could be a technic for lucid dreams. The only thing is that i wasn't trying to stay conscious. I think there is already an evolution, the other day i could modify the universe in which i was, but i felt asleep a few minuts later.

I did a lot of meditation and yoga since a long time but nothing for the last year because i had no time for that. I will try to start again to get back this habit because i think it's really helpful for lucid dreaming too.

I'm sure you will find that your experience with OBE and meditation will help with lucid dreaming. They all use those same mental muscels.

The only way I can remember more than two or three dreams a night is by waking up midway through my sleep. This helps me remember those dreams from early in the night, and can help me achieve lucidity. Have you read the Wake Back To Bed tutorial?

Well since about one week i can recall about 2 dreams per night, i put an alarm one hour before the hour i must normally wake up and after i noted the keywords of my dreams and drawn the important images of it, i fall asleep until the right time to getting up.

The tutorial you pointed me is very interesting (like all the wonderful tutorials there are here) and i hadn't read it before.

I tried the tutorial of Billy Bob "How to Lucid Dream", i was at the day 1 last night:

      Day 1:

Get up exactly five hours after going to sleep. Do WBTB coupled with many reality checks (the way I explained earlier).
When you get up to WBTB, record any dreams you remember.
but i didn't get out of my bed, i think that was not really a WBTB , so i recalled my dreams, but no lucid dreams. I will restart this tutorial program tomorrow night (because of my schedule).

(I really like the idea of the adoption program you got on this forum. I used to take part to a project on a great french forum about OBE. The project took place for one month. We were a group of person who choosed to work a lot in this amount of time to achieve our goal, we shared experiences every day on a special part of the forum, we had a schedule and things to do during the day to remember our goal and it was really a great experience. Maybe it could be a good idea for your forum to do something like that for lucid dreaming.)
