      Sleep tips?

I've compiled a few sleep tips & such, and was wondering if these are good daily routines before bedtime.

      1. Turn the lights off at 9 ish
      2. Stay on the computer from 9-10
      3. Take a shower, with lights dimmed
      4. Get in pajamas
      5. Watch TV until feeling tired (usually at 11, after George Lopez xD)
      6. Go to bed
      7. Relax body
      8. Concentrate on keeping eyes closed
      9. Good thinking time for me, I think until my thoughts are all woozy, which is when I fall asleep.

Do you guys suggest anything else that will help?

It doesn't really matter all that much what you do before sleep.

If you're really eager to get lucid though, one thing you can do which will help you attain lucidity (it's helped me) is have a strict routine (specific times you go to sleep and wake up) to train your body. This routine will allow your body to adjust and it will give you consistency to help you with your experiments.

The second thing that's really helped me is to read these forums for 30min-1hour right before going to be. It'll fill your mind (and your subconscious mind) with thoughts of lucid dreaming and it will increase your likeliness of attaining lucidity.

Also, try drinking some water; it might cause you to take up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, allowing you to do WILD much more effectively.

But, like I said, it really doesn't matter all that much because you lucid dream in the REM state of sleep (5-6 hours after you fall asleep) anyway.

      Good luck,
      Nick

The problem I have is that watching TV before bed can keep you awake.
