      Talking My First Ld!!!

I have been trying to ld for a long time, ive gotten good at my dreaming journal too, but anyways i have sorta given up but last night, I knew i was dreaming!!! the only wierd thing is it wasnt a crazy dream it was just a little thing that my dog just died and she was in my dream and that was the dream sign, all my other dreams have crazy things like giant birds and stuff but i never do dream checks. so my question is, how can i get to do more LDs, and how do i do more reality checks, and how do i control LDs???

Sorry no one replied to your post earlier.

Keeping a DJ (dream journal) is a good start at LDing. Using Reality Checks (RCs) is another way a lot of people become lucid. I like to close my mouth, pinch my nose and see if I can breathe. Sometimes I also see if I can push my finger through my hand. The thing with RCs is that if you want to do them in a dream, you have to do them a LOT in waking life!

Many people do a RC everytime they walk through a door way, since this is a good way to make sure they do it enough.

There is a tutorial on RCs in the tutorial section.

For more information on dream control look in the "Dream Control" section.

      Hope this helped!
