      Dreams decreased since joining

Well, actually, i've not really had a decrease in dreams, it;s just that every time I do have a dream, I completely forget it within .5-.8 seconds of waking. It used to be that I would wake up slowly, and have at least a vague idea of what happened, but since joining here and trying the different suyggestions for remembering dreams and attaining lucidity, I've just been waking up instantly and not being able to focus oin what I dreamed. (though I do recall if I;ve had a dream, and occasionally what it was, but never for as long as even a second after waking. Has someone ever encountered this, lucidity and memory techniques actuall making soimeone forget dreams or wake up suddnely? If anone can help please do!

(PS: It may be causing my precognition to increase. Twice recently I woke up right before a loud sound was about to occur, but not after it had actually started.)

Lay perfectly still when you wake up with your eyes closed. After a few minutes your brain thinks that you want to go back to sleep so it starts kicking on all of its dreaming stuff again, including your dream memory, which hasn't been erased yet. You should be able to remember your entire dream then, it should only take five minutes for that to happen.

Or you're in a dry spell, all of us have them. Could be due to stress or a different sleep pattern or even a new diet.

I just write them down each time I wake up, dream recall will come automatically in a while thanks to the habit of remembering them each time I wake up.

Thank you for your suggestions. IU'm trying what you suggested, ninja9578. See if it works on days I wake up early.

@ChaybaChayba: The reason i was asking here was that I had been remembering dreams long enough to type them out, but all of a sudden my waking-up pattern changed (from always gradual to always sudden), and I started forgetting the dreams before I could put them in word to type. Thank you for your suggestion, though, I will remember that in case it ever comes up.
