Most people have violent dreams from time to time. There is nothing wrong with this as long as they don't interfeere with your life.

If this dream is messing up your waking life you might want to talk to someone about it -- someone you trust and look up to, or a counselor.

In anycase, welcome to Dream Views!

Ummm I think that Lucid Dreaming may be able to help as you could use this dream as a dream sign.
Basically just do a RC or 2 whenever you come across something that reminds you of that dream, or a scenario that vaguely reasembles it (as I don't think the exact scenario would happen that often in real life ), and eventually this would cause you to become lucid through doing RCs (Reality Checks, theres plenty of info on them floating around) as one would eventually penetrate into the actual dream and this may be a solution to your nightmare problem.

Your dreams could be anything, probably something from a movie that you say once. Recurring dreams are usually not what they seem, they are symbols instead.
