Welcome fellow newbie. This site seems to have an array of knowledge so read up and good luck. You can also search lucid dreaming techniques on the net and get some interesting stuff.

You should keep practicing because if you quit you may be walking away from a blessing.

I'm pretty new too. I'm certainly having progress but you really have to work at it and have it on your mind throughout the day. Try the FILDing technique. I've only tried it once (didn't really try that hard) but it seems like a great technique. I would get practicing on a dream journal for at least 2 weeks or until you can successfully remember your dreams almost every night first before trying any major techniques like WILD or FILD... just my opinion
