      Red face Really New!!

I’m embarrassed to say I can’t even remember my dreams...let alone Lucid Dreaming.
I find it completely fascinating and that is why I am here.
I sleep so hard at night that I don’t remember a thing. I guess I should be grateful, but its 8 hours of my life that I cant even remember. I bought a Dream Journal, but it’s been sitting next to my bed for about a week now. I have not awakened in the night at all.
Can someone direct me to the kindergarten forum somewhere? (hehe)
I am sure this question already exists. Thanks!

Welcome, this place is fascinating. Maybe try setting your alarm clock for about 3 hours early and then sleep in spurts until it is time to get up. Or use the snooze button in the morning. I have had some nice dreams in between hitting the snooze button. You will find much information on this site.

Do you write in your journal even when you don't recall your dreams? And welcome to Dreamviews.

No. I used to have one and write in it all the time. But its been a good 6 yrs or so. My father passed away a tragic death and I had soo many nightmares at the time and I was sooo afraid to dream that I think I actually taught myself how NOT to remember.
I am obviously trying to change that now.

Welcom, LittleBlueWorld! Sounds like you have come to the right place.

There is a tutorial on dream recall in the tutorial section. Here is the lin:

If that doesn't answer all of your questions, feel free to ask! You can PM me for extra help, if you want, too.

Just keep in mind that you are having dreams, you are just forgetting them. Most people don't remember their dreams, so don't feel bad. The good news is, it is very easy once you get in the habit. Imagine all the great stuff you are missing every night, and that should be motivation.

If you think it would help motivate you, you can try starting a dream journal online:

Or you can read other people's journals to stay motivated. I'm warning you, it's pretty addictive
