      How to dream more often?

How can I dream more often? I don't have a regular sleep schedule, although I should be making that ajustment next week as I start a new job. I've started a Dream Journal, but I have trouble actually dreaming....ideas?

Maybe have some music start playin in the early morning during REM to get my brain moving?

Your probly dreaming, just not remembering the dreams. Try to focus on remembering them. If you wake up in the night, try to think about what caused you to awake, it may have been a dream. I've noticed that showering in the morning is a good time for me to remember the dreams I had. Its weird, I'll be in the shower and it'll just hit me, all of sudden I'll usually remember about 2 or 3 dreams I had throughout the night.
I'm new to this so my info may not be the best, just thought I'd give a shot at helping ya out

Umm, I would try and get more sleep (REM periods get longer and more frequent as you sleep more) and it will probably be easier to remember dreams as their longer and more vivid.

Also as your recall gets better from recording these dreams you may be able to remember dreams from earlier in the night, which would be helpful if you're not planning on getting extensive amounts of sleep all the time

When I wake up and don't remember my dreams, I usually just lay back down, close my eyes, and focus on remembering them, cause I know I had a few.
I don't focus too hard, because then I get distracted and become more awake, you need to hold on to that sleepy state, cause then your almost there... just take a few deep breaths and relax.

      It works for me.
