      Smile Flashing Lights

      Hi people!
First I'd like to introduce myself. I've read about LDs a little more than 2 years ago (I was 16 then). I was very interested in it, but also reluctant (there is always a lot of crap in the internet ). Anyways, I did a little research and figured out that there is more to LD than just the bull**** ideas of exoteric freaks. So I started reading tutorials and tried WILDing a few times, but I couldn't even reach SP and gave up after a week or two. However, since then I've paid more attention to my dreams and finally I've decided to give it another try since my summerbreak has started and I can spent a lot of time on it. So I went out, bought a nice notebook for my dreamjournal and started writing them down.
That's about all I think; if you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Ok, now the flashing lights: I worked out and went jogging this morning, so I decided to take a nap in the afternoon (often I have semi-lucid daydreams when I take a nap, so I wanted to try WILDing). I laid down, relaxed and followed all the WILDing instructions. Unfortunately my stupid dog started barking when the postman came and kinda ruined it, but then I went back and felt more and more sleepy (my throat went so dry, it felt like a desert; any tips on how to avoid this?). Then suddenly, a light started flashing really fast in front of my eyes and I remembered that this had happened before when I tried to WILD, but it had always scared me and I opened my eyes. This time, however, I forced myself not to open them. I'm not sure how long the flashing persisted, but I guess it was less than a minute. Then it slowed down and I realized that the flashing were my eyelids which opened and closed really fast while squinting and the slowing down was caused by my eyes being fully open.

Any idea what has happened? I haven't read anything about this and wondered if I'm the first one with this phenomenon.

It is normal to see flashing with your eyes closed. Welcome!

Seemingly the bough is the cause of the fruit,
But really the bough exists because of the fruit.
