      WILD advice?

      Hello all,
I've recently been picking up on WILD techniques and have been trying for a while know but I'm having some trouble advancing. It seems that I find it generally easy to enter sleep paralysis after much hard work, but getting past that stage is where my difficulty lies. I will be numb, i'll see the imagery, and I will get a wave of a kind of sinking feeling every so often, like in 10-20 min intervals. After a while I'll give up and just go to sleep cause its much too late by then. I thought I seen someone here mention something called a gravity-press or some such thing and a couple other techniques used to advance out of the stage I am at now. Any thoughts, or suggestions are welcome.

Oh and a side question: Can you WILD without waking up after being asleep already? eg: Come home from being out, crawl into bed, and immediately begin to relax and attempt a WILD. Or is that just another technique?

Theres no dream like the dream of reality.

yes you can WILD right as you first go to sleep, but it takes longer, and people usually say the dreams themselves are shorter. based on your results, im guessing that is when you are trying to WILD. that can explain why the transition is so hard for you. thats how WILDing was when i first tried it. i would get to SP fairly easily, and i'd think- well getting this far was no problem, so this should be easy! id always just end up giving up and going to sleep after hearing what felt like 30 minutes of weird ass random sounds, seeing weirdness, and feeling like my body was falling in an unending abyss off nothingness... it was quite frustrating that i could get to the transitional stage, but i would stay in the RW. i finally got after a few more times, but if you're looking for a shorter, simpler WILD strategy, just WBTB(wake back to bed) after being asleep for some hours, your body will slip right into REM sleep when you WILD, thus inducing the dream and you wont be just chillin out in that transitional stage. i hope i could help.

btw- welcome to dreamviews! ur kinda new...

Yea, I wanted to try a WBTB session based off what I know now, but I don't think my schedule lately could handle that, or at least for now anyway, haha. That, and I simply want to try and master the WILD from fully awake to beginning of sleep. I figure i'll just take day off and try it as long as I possibly can. Thanks alot for the advice.
