      Hiyas

Hey everyone seems like you all have an excellent community going on here. I've been researching dreaming for several years now and recently got my misses into it. Low and behold she came across a lucid dreaming article awhile back and after reading that I've been hooked which lead me here.

I had never put much thought into before but when I younger (around 6 or 7) I kept having reoccuring (spell?) nightmares about being chased by a wolf down my street and never being able to jump the fences to get away i would fall and have to run again.
I eventually described this to my granmother (an older part-cherokee(i think cherokee) lady who was set in her traditions) and she took me outside and asked me to show her the fences i couldn't climb and she helped me climb them and told me to dream I was strong enough to do it now.
Surely enough the next time I dreamt it I was able to jump the fence. I know this isn't necessarily Lucid Dreaming but it shows how a boost of confidense and a change of thought processes can effect your dreams.

Anyways sorry to be long winded just thought I would share and say Hello to the community. XD

It sounds like your grandmother is a great teacher. You're definitely right about thought processes!

Ty both for the welcome ^.^ I hope i'm able to contribute somewhat.

But yes she was a wonderfull teacher in many aspects of my life. She taught with a deep sense of spirituality about her, that I see in so few today, which has helped greatly.
