I just thought I'd make a bit of an intro.

I'm Lynn, 15, residing in the US. I think it was two days ago when I googled something along the lines of "dream control" when I was super-bored (a not-so-rare occurence this summer, unfortunately). I came across dreamviews and lucid dreaming. I read through the site and found it all... fascinating, really.

I believe I lucid dreamed once before, a loooong time ago, in a dream involving myself and a ten foot tall spider. I just realized I was dreaming and woke myself up, not really even thinking about what i could do in a dream once I knew I was dreaming. Silly me. I've never done it since then, though.

For the past three nights, I've been keeping a dream journal. I think just telling myself I'll remember a dream and making a dream journal has made me remember my dreams better. Since I'm asleep by midnight, I've been setting my alarm to six, trying to remember a dream, and then falling back asleep. I've been remembering two dreams a night, which is good compared to how I used to only remembering a dream every now and then, I guess.

Well, I suppose I just babbled a bit. Sorry about that. Anyway, what are the best ways to DILD? I've been telling myself before I go to bed that I will know I'm dreaming, and about every two hours yesterday, I did the finger-through-palm reality check thing, but... I just don't know. Is WILD easier? Any advice is appreicated! Thanks!
