      Very new, wondering about VILDs and DCs

      So I have had LDs before, but I never knew how to categorize them, so i'm starting new. I was wondering about peoples ideas about VILDs and their favorite methods for VILDing. I'm also wondering about DCs....what are they? I saw a thread about how to kill them...what are we killing?
      This is the coolest site and i'm willing to try any suggestions you might have.
      What happened happened and couldn't have happened any other way.

      Im pretty new too, but DC's are dream characters, just people you run into in your dream.
      LD's: 1 (HELL YEAH)

      Goals:
      1. Get beat up
      2. Find DreamGuide
      3. Have an insightful conversation with DreamGuide
      4. Make more goals

      Welcome to the forum Sleeper.

      My favorite way to VILD is to visualize a place I know of that has a blackboard on the wall. I visualize myself drawing numbers on the blackboard.

      Watching the motion of my hand drawing the numbers usually pulls me into the scene pretty quickly.

      Yeah, DC=dream character. That's just anyone in your dream.

      about killing DCs...this may sound like a joke but playing Grand Theft Auto helps A LOT.
      After playing the game for a few hours...all I dream while asleep is me as the characer of the game detroying stuff around a city.
