      A Dream Guild actually sounds kind of fun. Maybe DV is a Dream Guild.

      Next time you're lucid, try asking around to find your dream guide. Or think to yourself, "When I open this door, a dream guide will be standing behind it," or something similar. See what your brain comes up with.

      I consider a dream guide to be any dream character who helps me, gives me advice, or guides me in some way.

      To me, they can help you discover more about yourself. Mine is very nice, and happens to be an Anime character. I plan to talk with him more in future LDs I have.
