      Lucid dreaming without practice

Hi everyone im new here, and have just recently become very intrested in Lucid dreaming because of an experience I have had recently, which i will never forget.

First of all i should say that I have always loved dreaming and could always remember my dreams very well the next day maybe even 2 a nite without keeping a dream journal. I i do remember a few experiences when i was younger were i became lucid in a dream but this would only have lasted a few seconds before i woke up.
But anyway I was on holiday in Ibiza a few weeks ago and had been partying without sleep for a few days and was obviously taking stimulants to achieve this. So my body was tired but my brain was still wide awake so after the 3rd day i decided i needed to sleep, i should say i knew exactly what was going on at this stage my head was clear and i was not imagining that i experienced this.
Im sure i lay about for an hour or so befor i finally drifted of to sleep, but i never really did go to sleep its like I my body fell asleep but my brain didnt (i now know this to be like what you call WILD, suddnely i started feeling what i can only describe as shockwaves hitting me in the face which was really uncomfortable and even scary, after a few seconds of this i woke up quite rattled, anyway i soon drifted of again and the same thing happened so instantly i realised ur dreaming and i started telling myself to wake up wake up which actully took a few seconds and again was scary. So once again i drifted of and the same thing happened again i realised ur dreaming but this time i started saying to myself ur dreaming this isnt real as i said this over and over the shockwaves faded and a person appeared in front of me they were blury and almost black so i couldnt make them out at all, there was no backdrop everything was white but they were wearing boxing gloves and were hitting me in the face and this had the same effect on me as the shockwaves did so i started to punch back untill the other person fell, it felt so good i cant describe it. As the person hit the ground the backdrop changed and i was standing outside my local niteclub in my home town but the streets were deserted. I stood and looked round me for a few seconds and i noticed the ground dropping away from me, i looked around a nd realised that i was levatating in mid air, the next bit came so naturally to me i couldnt belive it i decided to fly around for a while superman style and i had full control of where i wanted to go i did this for a while and then got an urge to fly straight up in the air i did this and it was amazing to watch the landscape below me get smaller and smaller as i eventully entered space and looked down at the earth below and couldnt believe the picture my brain was making for me, next thing i woke up. I sat up in bed in pure amzement thinking about it and remember the sequence of event i had just witnessed. I went out and told my friend who was sitting on our balcony exactly what had happend he started to laugh at me and told me to wise up, but i could remember everyting so clearly. Anyway i went to bed again and slept for about a day im sure i had a few more dreams like this that same nite but dont remember them all i remember is more vibrations which i know would have allerted me to the effect i was dreaming.

So anyway after tis i am very interested in being able to do this again, and was wondering because i have been able to do this without trying or any techniques shold it be fairly easy for me to do angain employing the propper techniques.
Also these vibrations that i felt would these be considered a Dream sign??

Looking foward to hearing some replies to my experience, as it was one of the most memorable of my life and def made my holiday worth wile...

      to Dream Views!

So, were the vibrations there while dreaming, or as you're going into the dream? If you chose the latter, you were experiencing sleep paralisis, a crucial part in WILDing. It great you are able to get a head start like this, but staying up 3 days straight is probably what provoked your WILD, and I don't recomend doing that often.

Also, the fact that you were able to fly right off the bat is great! You have good potential in dream control. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me! n_n
What if I told you that I am dreaming right now?
That your whole life is a lie?
That the laws of physics as you know them are incorrect?

Furthermore, what would you do if I told you I'm going to wake up as soon as you finish reading my signature?

The vibrations were while dreaming, they were very strong and seamed as if they were taking my breath away in the dream untill i realised i was dreaming and then once i realised this they became more comfortable to deal with but were still slightly hard to deal with.
I actully tried to do it again yesterday rather lazily using WILD as in i just lay down in the middle of the day and tried it, but i had been up for about 8 hours from my last sleep. It took me a while to fall asleep but i did and started dreaming it was a really silly dream but i at once realised i was dreaming i had been telling myself i was going to lucid dream as i fell asleep which seemed to work, unfortunatly as soon as i realised i was awake within 10 seconds. But i suppose this is still a good first step on my first attempt to do it on purpose. I am going to start a dream log next week and take it from there..

Sleep deprivation can really give you some crazy dreams. I used to have this happen all the time in college from pulling all-nighters in the studio. I can only imagine how messy it must get with stimulants involved.

It sounds like it turned into an amazing experience. I get those vibrations or shock waves when I WILD too. Some people get them, and some don't, but they are definitely a sign that you are entering a dream.
