      Breathing

      Hello!
Back again after taking a break from trying to Lucid Dream with WILDing and decided to start getting back on the forums as, I don't know why, when I read the forums I feel encouraged when I read about others also trying.

Anyway I needed some help with what I am doing. I don't do WBTB method while WILDing as I seem to be able to get pretty far without it.

I'm a bit confused about the image part. When I counted my breaths to around 240 I saw lava lamp like images (not focused and blurry) that where dark yellow on a black background (my eyelids). Does this count as starting to see images or just my imagination?

My second question is the part where your subconscious tries to take over the breathing or at least I believe so. How it starts is around 300 breaths and my entire body, except for my upper chest, is really numb (so numb it sometimes feels like my arms twisting around itself, no pain but funny feeling). The problem I have is that the numbness creeps up on my lungs (feels like it) and I start to loss control over my breathing and then I kind of panic a bit. Is this supposed to happen? Or is my subconscious really starting to take over parts of my body ?

Thanks if anyone can help me

Welcome back to the world of LDs.

I get something similar after a few minutes. I see green blobs that seem to join with each other, curve, and do all kinds of stuff.

Can't say much about the rest, but I too get the blobs. It's the precursor of HI. You can see this if you ever did a VILD: as you visualize your scene in the morning, the scene first appears as formed green shapes before fully showing itself as a dreamscape.

      Good luck!
