      new to the forums...

Hey I'm new to this forum and have a question or two. According to "Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming" by Stephen LaBerge, before starting to attempt lucid dream induction techniques, one should first remember at least one dream per night and have at least a dozen dreams recorded in order to familiarize yourself with your dreams. I remember two or three per night but never entirely. I can only recall fragments from my dreams. Is this enough? Also, concerning reality checks: what's a good reality check that I could perform in a variety of situations without drawing attention. Right now I plug my nose and see if I can still breathe through it but I've had people give me funny looks when I do this.

Is at least one of your dreams clear? Just rank up your intention to recall your dreams and I think it'll be fine.. and about RCs, you can get a digital watch and look at it twice, or keep a card in your pocket and read "am i dreaming" twice (in both causes, the numbers/letters will be scrambled when you read it a second time during a dream).

      Hey, welcome!

No matter how tiny of a fragment you remember, write it down anyway. Just as long as you're "responsible" about it, it'll be enough.

There are a bunch of threads here concerning some really good RCs.. just use the "search" button.

Does an analog watch work? I've heard both that it does and that it doesn't. Maybe it depends on the person? Then again I'm not sure if either person that I heard this from had any idea what they were talking about.
