Could have been any number of things really; It may well have been you wanting to wake up at that time (I know I've done that a few times) but it could also have been general house noise/light coming through a window. I doubt you'll ever know.

Incidentally; Last night I got something about being at a lake and freaking everyone out by deciding to walk on water , then I went below (making myself able to breath for some strange reason, even though I knew i was dreaming)

      Talking Progress

Last night I had a number of fragmented unclear dreams. I became lucid a few times but immediatly awoke. I tried the spinning but that failed. In one dream I used the nose reality check on a false awakening but became distracted and lost lucidity. I'm hoping that this shows progress even if it is small. Today was my first Dream Journal Entry I am at least happy to say I induced lucidity even for a small amount of time.

Yeah that was a pretty ok one; only half lucidity though, I knew I was dreaming but I couldn't control the dream, only my own movements.

One of my favourite dreams recently has been the zombie apocalyse at my work, toward the end I got bitten and had to try and bite the remaining humans - like a game! Was quite fun!

I always include those into my nightmare catagory ... because IO always have to kill my family in zombie dreams.

It didn't bother me (I havn't had any nightmares since my lucid moment during a nightmare when I was little) because I knew I was dreaming, I literally "played the game" if you get my meaning.

Yes i understand ... I have done that before and yet it doesnt happen everytime. Usually in nightmares if I figure out its a dream I kill myself purposely so I can wake up.

*blink* A bit dramatic I guess But if it gets the job done! To be honest I can't remember having any nightmares ever since I had the awakening during one when I was small.. had a few annoying ones about work.. customers demanding back breaking service etc; but I just tell them to screw off!
