      I need to sleep

      I'm new to the forums, although I've known about lucid dreams and have been keeping a dream journal for a little bit. Lately, I've been going up to bed after 1 or 2 in the morning, and even then, I'll have to lay in bed for an hour or more before i can get fall asleep. I know it helps to sleep when exhausted, but that doesn't seem to work.

      Anybody got tips for how to get to sleep easier? I'd like to be able to get to sleep after a few minutes of being in bed.

      Tylenol PM's my friend 2 of these babies will knock you out. And they are cheap. I need sleep aids too ;_;

      If there's one thing that Ive learned after countless sleepless nights is that when insomnia doesn't want you to get any sleep that night, forget it. There are no sleeping tips that can counteract insomnia but there are sleeping aids. You can take anything w/ Diphenhydramine (tylenol PM like EEclips3 said or benadryl). You can also take some sleeping supplements like 5-htp or melatonin; which are both basically natural occurring chemicals in our brains that regulate sleep.
