When i woke up and wanna go back to sleep ---.--- i just can't... I can't go back to sleep any more and when im lying there for an hour my parents wake and make noise, so its impossible for me to fall asleep again.
Can you guys help me? or give me tips how to fall asleep FAST?

How long are you staying awake for when you do your WBTB. If its too hard to fall asleep again, you could stay up for a shorter period of time (i only stay up for like 5 minutes)

And go to bed earlier to prevent your parents waking you.

Taking a long time to fall asleep doesn't necessarily mean you wont LD either. Sometimes, itll take me 45-60mins of agonising tiredness....but i still have a chance of an LD

What time are you trying to get bac to sleep? I had the same problem too, But I was trying to do it at 7-8am; Try 5-6, tbh I don't even bother getting up I just go back to sleep and 9/10 I have a long LD, and if not usually a really cool one, usually like water parks or being on holiday for me

lol, i cant help you when you say 5:30am, because I don't know when you went to bed.

On a usual day, when Im up around 6:30. Ill go to sleep around 10pm, set my alarm for 4am and usually back asleep by 5.

You may need to try to move your time back. Infact, there are some people who dont even get up at all. They just roll over and either re-enter the dream with WILD, or try to MILD.

You could find 5 minutes in the day to tell yourself your affirmation (i.e that you will check reality/remember you are dreaming), and then just remind yourself/reinforce it when you do your WBTB.

Its been succesful for me 2 out of my last 6 attempts.

Thanks, but i do reality checks the whole day and think about the moment i did them when i went to bed. i tried again yesterday, but i just dont get lucid any more. i got lucid a couple of times when i was a little child, but today... nothing. some weeks ago i got lucid the first time since my child hood, but only due to that something unlogical happened in the dream and only for some seconds, thanks to my alarm-clock -.-

Try meditation while doing WBTB, should keep you very near sleeping. Here's one that I did: http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ad.php?t=58032
