      Lack of lucidity.

      Last night, I went to bed late (as I usually do), and then this morning, my mom tried waking me up several times, because she said that I need to get a good sleeping pattern for school that's coming up (Going into 10th grade). Eventually I woke up and had some breakfast. I was awake for an hour I guess, then I went upstairs and fell asleep. I've been concentrating on getting a Lucid Dream for the last two weeks, and every night I try to hypnotize myself into having a lucid dream, and trying to get a WILD (non wbtb), and whenever I remember I do a reality check. Anyway, I was upstairs sleeping, and I was in my English class (related to my mom trying to wake me up for school?) I actually think I was in a mix of last years English class, and my 8th grade math class. Anyway, my teacher was Asian, but she isn't in real life. Anyway, it was weird what happened, I just said out loud in the dream: "Get this sh*t out of here." And then I was dreaming that I was having sex with Vennesa Hudgens. During the dream, the bed that we were on was squeaking, and I was afraid that someone would hear it in real life. Anyway, the dream wasn't to clear, it was more like a day dream, and I didn't have to much control. Do you have any tips on how to improve that?

      I get those day dream scenarios also when I sleep in and get in that dozing state in the morning. You should really try a WBTB. It is amazing how effective it can be. If you do the same dozing thing, only in the middle of the night, you will probably be launched into full-on vivid lucid dreams.

      There are loads of tips dotted around these forums for this sort of thing, but a few i would recommend is rubbing your hands to make the dream more vivid. Then try to pause everything in the dream and resight to yourself what an LD is and tell yourself that everything in the dream is in your mind and under your direct control, this should make you more lucid. This certainly helps me!
