      Lucid Exitement

Allright well, i have had two lucid dreams now in the past week, and I'm realativeley new(this is only my second week). But they only last for a split second realization, and then i wake up. Now I know from reading through this forum you often attribute this to excitement. However i don't recall being excited. Am i just forgetting my initial excitement? Or is there some other reason i keep waking up as quick as i realize i am dreaming?

Your brain panicked because it's not used to knowing that everything it sees isn't real. That will stop soon.

This used to happen to me alot. Nowadays, though, instead of my mind correcting itself by getting used to knowing thigns aren't real, it just limits my comprehension of reality in dreams... This leads to frequent partially lucid dreams but very rare full lucids. How would one (including this fine fellow) go about getting thier brain to correct this problem of immediatly awakening in a different, more positive manner?
