      Heyyyy I'm new here

I've only remember having one lucid dream my whole life... But, I started to get more interested when i saw the movie Waking Life. Yeah, I wanna do things that i can't do in real life like fly.

Also, I wanted to share something thats bothering me. Sometimes, when something wakes me up at night, i ignore it and go back to sleep. It seems like I'm going back in to my dream, and I'm fully aware that my real body is in bed, but I'm not sure if I'm really dreaming or not so, as I'm going through the dream, I keep telling myself that I'm not really dreaming yet, I'm just thinking... and I never realize if or when I'm actually dreaming... yeah.. that bothers and confuses me...

When life gives you lemons, what do Yu do?

      Souless!
And this thing that is bothering you, I need a little more information on it before I can be sure of what it is, but if Im *not mistaken, it sounds like you're going through Sleep Paralysis (SP). This happens to everybody every night, except many havent experienced it yet. People usually experience it when they're still consciously awake while their body is going to sleep, and hence paralyzing them for the REM stage of sleep.

But before I go into more detail about that, here's the Acronym List to get you started here at DVs!

      EDIT:*not

Sounds like once you get to the point where you trust yourself -- knowing that you are in your bed during a dream -- you will be good at LDing! Sounds to me like you are doing a DEILD. You can find the acronyms here.

If you have any questions feel free to ask!

Aw darn, I read the DEILD tutorial and what i read seemed like exactly what happend... so, next time that happens, i should tell myself that i'm really dreaming now?

also, when that happend to me, i couldnt stop thinking about my real body until i just forgot about it and went on with the dream..
