Thread: Dreaming about Lucid Dreaming

Hello Everyone,

I've been on the forums for awhile now, but I have never seen a topic about this... possibly because it's a stupid question... but here goes.

I was wondering if it was a common occurrence to dream that you are lucid, but have no control whatsoever... or if there is something it could be useful for? I haven't been trying to lucid dream, simply increase my recall.

I find myself thinking about realizing im in a dream, and sometimes i decide in my dream that i am lucid. When i decide this, i always attempt to fly, but i simply continue to dream about flying around. I have even done reality checks, but it never really seems to click.

Is this most likely caused by me just reading about lucid dreaming? Or am I actually coming close and just missing something? Not challenging it?
