Hey, I'm new.. is this a good start?

Hey, i found this site umm.. about 4 days ago..

      I started a Dream Journal
anyway, since then i've been trying to increase my dream recall, since previously i would only remember 1 or 2 dreams a year (if that many)
The first night, i tried a MILD, to remember my dreams.. i woke after each one, but promptly fell asleep again, and forgot them all.
The next two night, i tried MILDS again, to no avail. I slept just like normal and didn't remember a thing..
Last night, however. I woke up, and remembered a fragment of a dream. I was standing in my kitchen, and saw a rainbow out the window. it was really fuzzy, and undetailed, but i remembered it. Then a couple hours later, i was working and I'm like HEY WAIT! There were other dreams too! and I remembered fractions of each.. so i have three 2-second long fragments of dreams from last night.. is this a good start?
      Will it keep increasing?
How can i increase the clarity of my memories? They're pretty fuzzy.
And Is there anything i could do to help me start remember more faster?

Thanks for any help, and nice to meet you all

Practice, practice, practice. Sounds like you are off to a great start.

All you need to do is to keep working at it.

      Somewhat, yeah i guess

It should after a week or two. The maximum amount of dreams that i remembered in one night was 5-6 and those are pretty rare(ive been lucid dreaming about a year) so dont expect to remember all of them.

You could 1. just keep doing MILD and the dream journal or 2. take vitamins B-6(supposed to increase awareness)

let me remind you that some dreams just aren't clear(well for me) and others are really clear. I think it just depends on the dream and the REM sleep cycle. I heard the longer you sleep, the longer you dream and possibly the more vivid it is. I think you have your longest dream around 8-10 hours.

Actually, after eight hours of sleep it's virtually perpetual dreaming. So the longest dreams are any time after eight hours of sleep. At least that's my understanding.
