      skip the first step of wild??

      what if you just stay up realy late? would that work instead of sleeping then wakeing up being sleepy and contiously falling asleap? just wondering

      In spite of the last post, it is possible from what I've read.

      I believe it's called REM relapse, caused by over-tiredness I think...where you fall asleep straight into REM (the sleep inwhich you dream), instead of 5-8 hours after going to sleep.

      However, how to start REM relapse is a mystery to me. It's really going to be easier for you in the long run to do a WBTB

      If you mean staying up late enough to the point you feel yourself falling asleep.I tried that had no luck. But you do get some nice trippy visuals though no Hi's just blobs and spark's and shit. Yeah i bailed out of my plan for a 24 hr sleep dep plan. But i seen two methods that sound like they might work havent tried them yet but im going too .But anyway 1. Just wake up early from like 4 hours of sleep for 3 days on the fourth day just sleep as long as you normaly do.I heard you could get lucid from that because of the rem rebound from cutting your sleep. 2.Ok some say it's an easy way to wild http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...t=37749&page=4 I hope one of them work.

      oh ok i was just wondering. i dont mean stay awake forever i ment like almost all night untill you can bear to stay awake any longer and enter a wild

      Yeah i tried that and i had no luck. Maybe if i held out a longer it might have worked But I see what your saying. I think it might work. I would give it a try. And can you report back what happens then i might give it another go agian

      When I'm lying in bed falling asleep I frequently go into a state where my mind is completely lost and doing random things.. for instance;

      10pm - go to bed
      10:10 - start trying to fall asleep
      10:20 - suddenly realises is playing ice hockey with donkeys
      10:21 - wakes up with this face

      mostly after one of these I'll fall asleep normally... but sometimes it happens multiple times, along with the sudden falling sensation (you know, the one that scares the crap out of you).

      well i tryed last night and had no luck. i woke up early-ish so i tryed to enter a normal wild but i couldnt not concentrate on the tv in my moms room and rolled over and layed there for like 30 min totaly awake then fell asleap normall

      Hmm only thing i can say is maybe you should just go to sleep as normal.And have someone wake you after you slept for 3 or 4 hours. Or an alarm and get up for like 30 or 40 second's then go back to bed and try for a wild i heard it's easier from that state. LoL at balestar ice hockey with donkey's

      if i dont enter a wild would i still feel the numb thing and the falling through the bed? ive felt that before after say a basketball game and laydown and like 10 min later almost fall asleap and at the las second eake up i feal it

      Dude you should try the wake back to bed. Last night i only got like 4 hour of sleep because the people in my house was just so dam noisey.So i just got up for like maybe 30 or 45 minute's and when thing's had gotten quiet i decided to go back to bed. So i just went to sleep and the next thing i know i seen myself sleeping and it was dark at that but somthing told me to move so tried and it felt like i stuck in jello kinda hard to get out.But i did then i tried walking straight through the door.But that where it ended yeah i woke up and it was over.Yeah im just saying wake back to bed give's you some strange result's.I aways have vivid dreams or strange thing's happen when ever im interupted by sleep.But all those time's where never on purpose im just to lazy for a wbtb.But im just saying maybe youll have better luck with a wbtb.

      Hmm best thing i can say is just go to sleep and you normaly do. And find a way to wake yourself up after about 3 or four hour's sleep.Then stay up for about 30 or 40 minute's then go back to bed. Then try for a wild but if anything you should atleast have a vivid dream.

      You got to move around for about 30 minute's or so to keep your mind active.

      omg omg omg

      FIRST LUCID DREAM(on purpous)


      it does work!!!!!!!!!!!! i stayed up allll night and yesterday i didnt get much sleep eather and i drank lots of coffee to get ready for going to bed on time for school and i was laying there and i felt the vibrations and stuff! but i was un comforitable so i moved and it stopped. but it did it again later! it felt simular to a hillutionagenic high(like popping a 24 pack of benidryll) and it was lucid but kinda creepy though i was in a dark green aumonous bathroom and couldnt talk very well i slurred and couldnt see the sink unless i staired at it and concentrated and told myself it was there and boom there was a shink. it felt great!

      Dude are you saying you stayed up for a night or 2 night's to become lucid ? I know i tried that and 19 hour and i gave up But im glad you had a lucid dreamHow long did it last for you once when u became luicid?

      Yes you can skip the first step and attempt a WILD in the afternoon at around 1-2pm, this is actually quite a popular time that people do suceed in WILD'ing.
      But if you plan to do it at night without the first step, it's almost impossible because of REM.
      Just to add there is a natural REM time in the afternoon.
