I am very honoured to have found you all.

      Hello,
You may call me Wurmspawn, a name that represents my personal struggle towards the ideal.
I have been interested in dreaming for many years, but only started researching and practicing a couple of years ago when my aunt sent me the link to 'Lar's Lucid Dreaming FAQ'
Since, I have made intermittent attempts at LD, although my skill is much less than my desire. I have had a few LDs and felt that they were the most powerful experiences I have ever had.
I also remember quite clearly two dreams from my childhood that felt very real and now hold the opinion that they were also LDs.

Other than dreaming, I am very interested in techno music. I am an amateur DJ and involved in our local rave scene. I am also a biologist and have spent many summers out in the bush chasing birds and encountering bears. I love nature, I love sound, I love to dream.

I am very happy to have found this forum and look forward to meeting many of you and sharing experiences and knowledge.

if you are interested, the picture in my sig is of a mass of bracket fungi i encountered on a misty/sunny morning the day after a near torrential rain in the boreal forest of Canada.

Welcome to the forums wurmspawn (maybe you can tell me what this fungus on my back is? ) You've been trying this for years huh? How dedicated have you been to ld'ing? Most people have fairly regular LD's after a couple months . I'd be glad to offer my assistance in any way I can, along with the rest of the forum.

      Hey wurmspawn, welcome

You sound like an interesting character
As Regalecus says, this is quite an interesting community of people and generally quite helpful. We all share at least one thing

i thank you for your kind words...

i must admit that although i have been trying to LD for a while now, i never can try that hard. It seems I need a lot of sleep to prevent fatigue in my life and trying LDing usually can only last for a few days a month otherwise i get too tired.

/me heads off to tackle the tutorials...
      i will return wiser, me-hopes ~:D
